New Years in Seattle

All of these pictures turned out a little on the dark side....maybe that's because Seattle is kind of a dark place to be...The sun didn't peak out it's happy face once the entire trip...of course the week before it was supposedly gorgeous - go figure! Not that I minded much - it's a nice change from the constant sun of AZ! We had a great time visiting all the family and Emmie LOVED playing with her cousins!

Wednesday night we pulled in pretty early....6:00ish. Emmie was delirious after missing her afternoon nap - oh the difference a nap makes! But we can't complain much - she was a dream on the flight - watched movies...ate snacks...open and closed the window blinds about 100 times....and best of all there were two other babies who screamed the WHOLE time- so any squawks Emmie made weren't even noticed - everyone was too busy trying to ignore/drown out the others! Those poor parents...and kids...both were exhausted by the end of it!

just look at those tired eyes!

New Year's Eve: Seattle Science Center
Playing with the water hoses
looking at dinosaurs with grampa Coleman

Playing withe the sand in the tide pool...Emmie did not want to leave this one!
She was eating her corndog so funny...upside down and then dipping the stick in the ketchup and licking it off...we had to get a picture.

Later that day some of the cousins came over for the festivities - lots of running around (much to granma's headache...) watching movies and old videos of Christmas' years ago - pretty fun.

New Year's day:
Playing with Cousin Hallie - those two were pretty cute together!Emma LOVED this little girl! Emmie did pretty good with getting picked up all the time...she barely squawked about it...that surprised me!

Saturday: Time to Go
So cute!
Emmie with Granma and Granpa Coleman dropping us off at the airport. It was a short but fun trip! We love you guys!

Becky let Emmie keep this ball she found at the house...Thank you Becky! It made the wait at the airport go by super fast!

That was a great visit! It was so much fun seeing you three. Maybe next time it can be a bit longer and I won't have a sick kid to watch and miss out on all the fun!!! ;)
