i am in escrow! we are happy to announce that there is a 99% chance that we will be closing on our house oct. 16th! it all happened very fast. we started looking and within 5 days we found a house and the bank accepted the offer. we had our last saturday and all looks good...you know minor this and that but over all it was good! we are super thrilled! now we are just trying not to get scarred off by all the horror stories people keep telling us about how "so and so" lost there house last minute and blah blah blah. i guess there is a chance something will happen but i don't want to think about it. this house is perfect and in three weeks it will be ours... and if something does happen then it's out of our control. now to think of paint color and tile choices...
oh, and did i mention that matt totally knows the previous owners? small world. we saw their names on the tax records. funny, right?
and for your viewing enjoyment...i can't say of the word "escrow" without thinking of this: enjoy!

Congratulations!! I'm sure you guys will be just fine. I remember the picking out the paint color, tile, carpet. So much fun!

i wondered where I had heard that term before...ame had to explain what that meant. I still dont know what it means. and I think lukes sisters boyfriend was on seaquest DSV. and encino man. yusss.
