One Year Older...And Wiser Too! Happy Birthday - To You!

A few quotes for you on your birthday...Love you,Ceri!
Sisters don't need words. They have perfected a language of snarls and smiles and frowns and winks - expressions of shocked surprise and incredulity and disbelief. Sniffs and snorts and gasps and sighs - that can undermine any tale you're telling.
~Pam Brown

The best thing about having a sister was that I always had a friend.
Cali Rae Turner

If your sister is in a tearing hurry to go out and cannot catch your eye, she's wearing your best sweater.
~Pam Brown
Sisters annoy, interfere, criticize. Indulge in monumental sulks, in huffs, in snide remarks. Borrow. Break. Monopolize the bathroom. Are always underfoot. But if catastrophe should strike, sisters are there. Defending you against all comers.
~Pam Brown
Here's to 22 year of Sisterhood...I'm so thankful that we live so close, like the same things, and can share clothes! I love you!

Up for a good personality quiz?

You Are Cinderella!

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Dignified and hard working. With a gentle and soft-spoken manner you have something many people don't. Patience. Even through the moments of heartbreak you're still able to hold onto all of your hopes and dreams. Bide your time; your dream will come true.

Which Disney Princess Are You?

Tutu Talk

I bought this Tutu at a boutique sale this morning. Isn't it adorable? Emmie loves it...or maybe it's just that she doesn't mind it....whatever the case, doesn't everything she does look even cuter when she wears a tutu?!

Scratch and Taste

Our curious little girl. She loves getting into EVERYTHING! Scratch and taste is Emmie's motto! It's so fun watching her explore - she's a funny little thing! (I love her face at the end when the phone is ringing...she knows exactly what's suppose to happen)

Yeah for a Birthday!

On Thursday (the 19th) I turned 24...getting older is strange...people ask, "do you feel 24?" and I reply, "sure" because really...what does 24 feel like? For me I feel a mix of how I felt since high school graduation (but less self involved), then add to it those feelings you have when you have to be a grownup with responsibilities...maybe I won't truly begin to feel like I'm getting old until something starts sagging or aching...can't wait for that!
Me Blowing out the candles on my delicious double rich Good Cake (Thank You Ceri!)

Ready, Set, BAKE! I've wanted a bread maker for the longest time! (thanks mom & dad!) No more paying $2.50++ for a nice loaf of bread...because I'm making my own!! Isn't that apron super cute?! (thanks Ceri!) and you can't read the label on the canister but it's Serendipity's frrrozen hot chocolate mix from New York...YUMMY!
Emmie's such a good helper!

Who needs presents? The best part is the wrapping!

Dana got me this!! I could watch this movie over and over and not get sick of it...no it is not one of Cameron Diaz's best movies...but dang good if you ask me! Thanks Dana!

And last - but definitely not least - is my new Nike+ Matt bought me! It's got the coolest features...I've been trying to get motivated to start running again...and now I am! Thanks Sweetie! Here's to another year!

Happy Father's Day, Men!

Here's to the men in our lives we call "dad"!

Here's to all the midnight waking help, the laughing sessions, the diaper changes, the lulling walks, and big bear hugs....oh and the fixing things so they just work better...

Hears to the piano accompaniment, the personalized songs, funny jokes, and always selfless care.

Hears to your dry wit, gentle nature, mr. fix-it attitude, and perfect salmon grilling talent!

Thanks for all you do! WE LOVE YOU!

Beautiful Coronado

Last weekend Mom and Dad Corriveau took Matt, Emmie, and I to Coronado for the weekend. It was a much needed vacation! The weather was gorgeous and we had an awesome time!

First stop...Target!
Once we got out there we realized that we were not prepared at all...none of us had checked the weather so we didn't know to bring a jacket for the first day...it was down right cold! (a nice change from were we left!) Check out the sweet cart escalator!
The conversation I had with my dad right before riding the escalator:
Dad: That's only for carts - you need to take Emmie out
Me: Oh really?! I thought I'd just leave her in there
Dad: ha
Me: (roll of the eyes...like I'd actually leave my child in there to ride that thing by herself..)
I guess it's kind of nice to have someone always checking on me...I guess... : )

Emmie's all bundled up!

For the remainder of the trip there was nothing but California sunshine!
Matt and I rented bikes and rode all the way around the island - It was a blast!

What is a trip to San Diego without stopping in La Jolla for some Alfonso Chips?! YUM!

The Ferry ride from the Island to the City. That's one cool hat Emmie!

In front of the Del Coronado...Beautiful...maybe we'll stay there when we're rich!

Mom Corriveau - stopping to smell the roses

Having fun!
Daddy's girl!

Enjoying some reading material on the ride home

Emmie's gotten so good at entertaining her self at restaurants...have lids - we'll play!
My favorite part is the little laugh in the last few seconds...cracks me up!
